Notify local media
- If your campaign is local, you may be able to get it covered by local media.
- Call your local TV stations, radio stations, and print media, including your community newspaper. Tell them about what you're trying to do.
- Write and e-mail a press release to local media. (See: Tips on how to write a press release)
- After you distribute your press release, follow up with media via a phone call or e-mail to determine their interest, and make sure they know about your campaign.
